Cloud backups

With Onwarder Cloud, every device you write on backs up your whole library to your account automatically. Here is how to see them and bring books back.

With Onwarder Cloud, every device you write on backs up your whole library to your account automatically. They are separate from the files you save yourself, which you can keep as well.

See how your backups stand

Open Settings, Storage and Cloud to see how your backups stand, for example Backed up 5 minutes ago. Each device keeps up to 24 hourly and 30 daily backups. You can open any of them, see which is the Latest for each device, and delete them with Delete all Cloud backups.

If backing up stops (no connection, space full, Cloud ended), the same place says so plainly and suggests Save library to a file in the meantime.

Bring books back from a Cloud backup

  1. Open Settings, Storage and Cloud, and under Backups choose Open backup.
  2. Onwarder shows what is in it and which books are new to this library, the same way it does for a file. See Backups and restoring.
  3. Choose Add 1 book (the number follows your ticks). Adding never overwrites anything.

Backups are kept for 12 months after Cloud ends. You can delete them sooner.
